Device drivers missing after windows 10 update 1511 update on my laptop (alienware 17, i7 4700, intel hd 4600& nvidia 770m with optimus, hm87 chipset) after perfroming update 1511 (via windows update), had some devices not updated properly as per below image.. It would most likely refer to chipset drivers to allow computer to see the hard disks to install win10 to them. windows 10 has many drivers for sata chipsets but might be missing the ones for your. The usb 3.0 drivers do get installed during installation, but until those drivers are installed usb 2.0 is the default and on some systems the usb 3.0 ports are non functional without the usb 3.0 driver..
